Dirt Under My Nails

As a seasoned gardener with a soul designed to take care of plants, flowers and trees, I have created gardens in every living space I have inhabited since a small child.

Growing up on a farm in west central Ohio, we learned to garden at a very early age. The springtime entailed preparing the soil and planting while the summer months were filled with long hot days weeding, pruning, and harvesting. Food was plentiful during these seasons and canned for the winter months ahead.

Recently, I moved to a beautiful horse ranch where I can garden with no abandon. Having lived under HOA rules and regulations in my former residence where our community gardens were eventually dismantled, my inner child has been reborn.

I’m learning to plant differently from the coastal environment to hotter mountain elevations with more sun than fog. It’s a fascinating process yet one common theme always remains. Love. Pure love connection with each plant and flower as they thrive with conversations from my heart.

Dirt under my nails thrills me as I connect with Mother Gaia and her beautiful soil of various forms. Having strong hands that can dig, hoe, chop and plant brings a deep sense of gratitude as I am drawn to create various types of gardens around the cottage where I live.

Sensing how my body responds when digging in the earth always fascinates me. We are one with Mother Gaia and her Cosmic heartbeat with the vibration of growth and evolution. Sometimes I can feel a heartbeat when digging deep into the earth.

After every gardening experience, there is an electric energy that runs through my nervous system; one that I relate to healing and releasing what is no longer needed in my cellular memory and making room for new growth of cellular regeneration.

There is a language of Earth’s plants, flowers, and trees and their love for our connection. We give them carbon dioxide and they give us oxygen in exchange. When we were sheltered in place during the recent pandemic, digging in potted soil or our backyards diminished the fear and brought forth the love.

In our Inner Leader Movement, the E in AWE represents the Earth-below. It is one-third of our evolutionary process of connection with resources, energy, and consciousness, Above, Within, and Earth-below.

One-third is a huge percentage of our evolutionary process. The more we connect with nature, the more we realize our spirit Source-self is a natural way of being. Our soul consciousness lights up and our hearts heal from the old traumas, dramas, and dread.

We connect with the life force of the Universe flowing through the heart of Mother Gaia and all that is swirling around us externally diminishes in vibration as we increase nature spirit being vibration. Digging in the soil, and caring for plants and trees brings us to the highest vibration with Mother Gaia who is pure and natural love.

May you create your gardens of love in reverence and honor in harmonious connection with Mother Gaia as our soul consciousness becomes the guidance system of our evolution here on Earth-below.
