Today, August 22nd is my father, George William Clayton’s heavenly birthday. He would have been 90 years old today yet he left us after being on earth 68 years.

My father’s spirit is always with me as he shows up in older Chevy trucks that appear out of no where while I’m driving. He appears as a bluebird who sat on his Chevy truck the day he passed. Sometimes I smell cigarette smoke in my car or condo so I know he is puffing away giving me advice. I receive his strength when I am weak. I feel his love when I’m alone. I hear his voice when I need assurance. Our connection is strong and I’m very grateful for his love and light from Above.

Happy heavenly birthday, Dad! I know you are singing with your quartet best buddies who are with you now and radiating your love songs to all of us daily.

I will continue to shine on in your honor and never, ever give up!
